How It All Began

Before coming to Lake Chapala my wife and I traveled in our 5th wheel travel trailer from Yelowstone National Park in the Summer to Arizona in the Winter shooting images for Resorts, Hotels and Motels for their web sites and brochures. Our larger resort and hotel clients also had us create DVD's of their properties along with many of the nearby attractions to use in their sales and marketing departments at the many trade shows they attended.

When we first came to Lake Chapala to see if we might like to retire here, I naturally made a DVD of what we saw for our own purposes.

After moving to Lake Chapala we had several of our new friends ask if we would make copies of the DVD so that they could send them to their families. This was the beginning of what has become an annual production of an updated, current year DVD, now in it's 6th edition.

Several years later, we have shot thousands of images, learned thousands of new things, understand so much more about the Mexican Culture, that this DVD, encompasses many more subjects, to tell a complete story of retirement at Lake Chapala.

About Our Dvd's

We created these DVD's for two reasons. The first was for our local ex pat population so that they would be able to show their families and friends NOB what living at Lake Chapala was really like.

The second was to provide anyone thinking about retirement in Mexico with one simple piece of Media that would give them a complete look at what Lake Chapala Retirement or a Vacation at Lake Chapala would be like. We wanted to tell a realistic story, not chamber hype, even though I admit I love living in Mexico and especially here at Lake Chapala.
The U.S. media has been preoccupied with creating such a negative image of Mexico, that I really feel obligated to present a very very different viewpoint and one supported by the thousands of ex pats that have chosen Mexico as their retirement home.

Each of the 6 videos has been designed to tell an honest story of what the subject discusses. An example of that is our Lake Chapala Real Estate Video. Here you'll see many very beautiful homes but also some of Lakesides poorest neighborhoods.
We have also created a DVD that is not only informative but is also entertaining with "pictures in motion". Music from Mexico and interesting transitions.

If you want a real look at Lake Chapala, this DVD will provide that look for you

Many of our prior year buyers anticipate the new release of each new volume and purchase it to see what's new, what has changed and to stay current with Lake Chapala happenings.

Weekend Travel Destinations
to 3 World Heritage Colonial Cities

Guanajuato, Morelia and Patzcuaro

This DVD will take you on video tours of three magnificent, historic colonial cities. These cities can make you believe you're in Spain rather than Mexico. The difference, the cost of the travel.

Morelia is the capital of the state of Michoacan and touring the city you will walk through history and explore 450 year old Cathedrals and Historic buildings. Sitting at the street side cafes will give you hours of relaxation and pleasure watching the local culture

Patzcuaro is a beautiful mountain village nestled on the shore of beautiful Lake Patzcuaro. It's name means City of Temples. Lake Patzcuaro has several inhabited islands, the most famous, Janitzio Island. Tour boats go back and forth to the Island like street cars. It's on Janitzio Island that one of Mexico's most famous Day of the Dead Celebrations takes place each Nov. 1st and 2nd

Guanajuato is perhaps one of Mexico's most colorful cities. It was originally one of the richest gold and silver mining areas in the world suppling over 75% of the worlds ore.
Today, it's rich in history and home to the World famous Cervante Festival held each fall and bringing performers from all over the world. Should you want reservations make them up to a year in advance/
